Form display is served static; submission is bridged through admin-ajax.php. Gravity Forms is commercial-only with no free tier to test against, so this adapter's confidence is deliberately capped lower than the other form plugins.
Static + Bridges
The page containing the form is served from the static release.
Only the actual submission request is dynamic.
Submissions are bridged via admin-ajax.php (action=gform_ajax).
No special setup — detected automatically once active.
This has not been behaviorally validated against a real install — there's no free license available to test against, so this classification is a documented starting point, not a guarantee. Forms with a file-upload field need the bridge route to validate file type and size specifically, not just rely on rate limiting. As with other form plugins, submission sends a real notification, so it's validated manually rather than automated.
Static Shield Lite is free to install and inspects your actual plugins, not just what's publicly visible.
